MINSEOK Artist and Ice Cream Media Art
Artist Kang Minseok participated in this exhibition under the name "MINSEOK," showcasing media art pieces centered around the theme of ice cream. These works symbolically express how memories distort over time and aim to recreate the sweet moments of the past. Although ice cream easily melts due to its nature, the artist sought to capture and preserve the intense experience of the moment forever. The sculptures are stored as NFTs in the digital world, allowing viewers to revisit them anytime, while videos featuring ice creams spinning in various colors and shapes represent the diverse memories and experiences of modern life.
MINSEOK’s artwork encourages reflection on how fleeting yet intense moments in our lives can hold significant meaning, visually expressing the various moments of life that can be perceived differently depending on personal taste.
Throughout the exhibition, visitors can continuously enjoy media art pieces symbolizing various memories and experiences of contemporary individuals through digital signage. Through this artistic experiment, MINSEOK delivers a message that small moments in everyday life can have great significance and reminds us of the importance of memories that might otherwise be forgotten.

Held at Seoul Central City Terminal, a transportation hub connecting 41 routes nationwide, the media art exhibition "At the End of Summer" presents images that traverse time and space while awaiting the end of summer. Summer remains not just a season but a deeply ingrained story within our lives, enduring the heat while waiting for change. The exhibition draws from the fact that a terminal is both a destination and a starting point for many, interpreting the anticipation of the end of summer through media art and inviting viewers to discover new senses in spaces on the boundary between the ordinary and the extraordinary.
The exhibition showcases the diverse emotions and memories that emerge as summer’s light and time intersect. Participating artists freely navigate light, color, and space-time, presenting works that capture the beauty of nature under the sparkling sunlight and the changing landscapes. The crossing of virtual and real, ordinary and extraordinary, reveals even the stillness beneath summer’s vibrancy. Through this exhibition, viewers are invited to reflect on the fleeting light of summer and explore where the light at its end leads.
